Where it all began…

Hi everyone, my name is Ale! I’m an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (and lover of all things health and wellness) on a lifelong mission to help others learn the language of their own body, break free from habits that keep them at war with themselves, and ultimately discover a newfound self-love.

My journey began at 10 years old when I was diagnosed with an eating disorder that ruled my adolescence. Years of disordered eating eventually placed my gut into a state of dysbiosis and my nervous system into a state of dysregulation, becoming my first introduction to the complicated bond between diet, mental health, and autoimmunity.

Being sick and tired of being sick and tired gave me no choice but to find the sources of my chronic inflammation, lean on food as physical therapy, let go of perfectionistic tendencies, disconnect from trendy and excessive health routines, learn to advocate for myself in the medical space, bridge together the worlds of both Eastern and Western medicine, and fall in love with the journey.

As my body began to heal, a newfound intuition emerged. I firmly believe that beneath all dis-ease is an innate intelligence that has our best interest. This is when I realized that I once had it all wrong… we can’t hate ourselves into a body we love.

Dealing with health can be incredibly isolating. Not to mention, we are creatures of nuance. So many who suffer fall through the cracks of our healthcare system.

My dream has always been to channel my extensive experience in hands-on healing and integrative practices into a space where nutrition, integrative care, and self-love can synergize.

Where highly sensitive bodies are celebrated and community/connection becomes medicine in itself. Where there is a space for anyone and everyone who wants to dig deeper.

Health is not stagnant; it’s ebbing and flowing over time. Everybody and every body is different.

This is why I decided to go to integrative nutrition school to become a certified holistic health coach and accompany others while they embark on their healing journeys.

I hope that here, we can learn to recognize, honor, and nourish our physical needs in ways that feel both emotionally and spiritually satisfying.

You do not have to be suffering to restore balance in your life. No one deserves to feel anything less than well.

I couldn’t be more excited and honored to work alongside you.

Love,

Ale
